Pak 40, 75 mm, antitank weapon
|
|

The Pak 40, 75 mm caliber is a German anti-tank cannon which was first used on the Russian front line in 1941. It's particularly efficient against the soviet T34 tank even if the Russian tank had very heavy armours. No allies tank can face it, and panzer IV and V are outfitted with it, it's also fixed on self-propelled frames. Above it, there's only the 88 mm, named Pak 43. The Pak 40 will be in use during whole WWII. Its only default: its size. A lighten version was created the Pak 50 75 mm, which had no success.
